The chickpeas took sooo long to cook, I had it over the stove boiling for about 1.5 hours., and it was still a bit hard in the end. Only after that did I find out that I should have soaked the chick peas long before starting to cook them, Duh ! Well, it did turn out quite well and tasty, but did not have the “melt in your month” sensation.Nevermind, lesson noted. Well, both of us enjoyed the food, so I guess, I’ll keep on experimenting :-) .
Next mission, to cook some new dish aka experiment for my mom. :-)
